I was looking over my ruling about ammo and natural ones in combat and it came to my attention that it should perhaps take longer for a Jedi to reset his lightsaber energy. (since the energy cells on lightsabers are integrated into the weapon it would be a complete pain to remove and replace). Since Jedi do not need to purchase additional energy cells it means they need to spend less credits making the lightsaber a more desirable weapon IMO.
With this in mind, I propose the following change in the hopes of balancing things out:
Quote:
It will require two swift actions on the players next turn to readjust the power settings on the lightsaber.
In place currently is as follows:

Since ammo is not being kept track of, use the following rule instead: When a natural 1 is rolled on an attack roll when using a weapon which contains a power cell or pack, then the weapon has become jammed or shorts out and the power source must be replaced as a move action next round. This also includes any melee weapon, only lightsabers do not need a replacement. Instead it takes a move action to readjust the power settings and turn it back on.
